My experience at Greenville Hyundai was exceptional. I had the pleasure of work with Michael Hernandez and he took care of my first car purchase from beginning to end. If you are looking for someone who care about their clients, give him a call!

Buyer Beware- Hidden Fees at this dealership. We went to look at a vehicle I found online for $9,993. We had a great salesman named Michael who took us for a test drive. We liked the car and the price was fair so we told Michael we would buy it. They brought out the paper work only to see 2 dealership fees for $299 each for their VIP program and Theft program added into the total cost. I told them I didn't want either of these dealer services and asked them to take them off and I would buy the car. Michael went to talk to their sales manager. The sales manager came back with some story about those fees being non-negotiable and that the fees were advertised on the vehicle description (I attached a picture of the vehicle from their website- clearly no mention of any hidden dealer service fees). I explained that the $299 services provided no value to me and that I would not pay for them. The manager then told me that the fees were actually were profit centers for their dealership. I again told him that I would not pay the hidden profit center fees, thanked them for their time and started to leave. The manager then asked me to meet him half way on the "non-negotiable" fees (I guess they are somewhat negotiable) and lowered the fees to $150 each. I told him that it was not the money at this point, it was the principle- this was "bait and switch" tactics. You should not have to pay for dealer service items you don't want simply to give the dealership more profit. So- If you want to buy a car here, ask for Michael to help you, but plan on paying somewhere between $300-$600 more than their advertised price.

I came to this establishment to get an oil change and a multipoint inspection. I was waiting for over two hours for those services to be completed. They did not do the oil change correctly. I was never asked what type of oil I wanted so I took that to mean they would be looking at the sticker I have on the inside of my window as to what oil I use... nope. I have been using a full synthetic oil on my car for over two years and they put in regular. I'm a responsible car owner and I don't frequent dealerships often because I find them to be a total scam. This dealership is no exception to that. Within the last two weeks I have changed my cabin air filter and the engine air filter. I also bought a fuel injector cleaner last week. So why was I told I HAD to have my filters replaced? I HAD to have my fuel system cleaning? Oh that's right, it's because they didn't check a single thing on my car! They just looked at the mileage and recommended what my car "needed" based on that. I got no apology for the wrong oil used, this dealership attempted to pressure me into getting around one thousand dollars of unnecessary work done and left me waiting for an exorbitant amount of time. I was so dissatisfied and upset over the oil change I went to my regular mechanic and had him take out the oil and put synthetic in. He also put air in my tires and checked several other things. I have no idea what these people checked on my car but all I got from my stop here was a mediocre car wash, wrong oil, over two hours of my life I won't get back and a headache. Please don't waste your time coming here. All dealers want is to rip you off and this place isn't even apologetic when you call them out on it. Go somewhere else! Please!
