We recently moved to the area so I chose this vet for my pets. The first time I took my dog in for a shot. I was not at all impressed with the front desk staff, who were not friendly or helpful. I really liked the doctor so I gave them a pass. I then needed to take my cat in for a shot. Got to the doctor and was informed that since my cat was older I was going to be forced to do a geriatric blood panel for $160. They could have told me this on the phone when I made the appt. and told them my cats age, but I let it go, and continued with the appt. After her bloodwork I was told that someone would call me tomorrow when her results came in. 2 weeks passed and I heard nothing about the results for the test I was forced to pay for??? If this test was so important you would think they would call me back to let me know my senile cat, that they were so worried about getting tested, was fine. I left 2 messages with no return call??? Then called and spoke to a very rude lady who acted like it was no big deal no one called me back, and that apparently nothing was wrong if no one called. Um I just paid $160 for a test I didn't want to begin with, atleast give me the dang results. Apparently they don't care about there clients returning with service like this. I gave 3 stars simply because the doctor was great the first time I was there. I will be looking for another vet. I would definitely not recommend this vet.
Dr Kimberlin is by far the best vet I have ever taken my fur children to visit. He has now been my vet for about 33 years. He is always honest, is a phenomenal surgeon, loves the animals and is kind and considerate no matter what the emergency is. He has a heart of gold. We have now moved 35 minutes away from Dr kimberlin, tried some local vets, and are back with Dr K (and his staff). I think I would drive 2 hours to see him. He has been a blessing to me and my babies.
Only been there once for foot surgery on a rooster. Everyone was professional. I was grateful to even find a local vet who would treat a chicken.
Veterinarian Larry Kimberlin and staff are the best! He does wonderful work on our big dogs, even saved our puppy's leg after he'd been shot and his back leg bone was shattered. Today you can't even tell he was hurt! We also don't hesitate to bring our horses here.
The staff is very friendly they did a great job caring for my cat and I definitely will have returned Services there for any other animals.
