Have stayed here about 15 times mostly because co workers stay here. This is my last time! This place has gone down hill fast! I am on my 4th room tonight...yes, I said 4th. A/C rattling in 3 of the 4 rooms! 4th room I just gave up! Beds very hard and walls dirty. Customer service is fairly good but they have no 24 hour maintenance staff. I'll be staying at the best western plus next time. Rooms might not be as modern there but they are comfortable.
If there were an option for zero that's what I would rate. The management staff at this location are beyond unprofessional. I had a concern and asked for a corporate number when checking out. I was informed I would have to call the hotel number and ask for the "owner". I left and probably would not have called back as I was told the owner wouldn't return until next week. The associate that checked me out asked if there was an issue, I explained my concerns. Within 5 minutes the individual I had the concerns about was calling me on my business phone ( the number they have on file) and aggressively arguing his point. At times speaking over me to the point I was screaming back that I did not want to discuss the matter with him, I requested to speak with the owner or corporate office. I WILL NEVER visit this establishment again. I stay in hotels 2 to 3 nights a week on occasions for business and purposely stay at major chains (and pay more I might add) to avoid this type of service. HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST.
Nice pool.& hot tub indoor. Very nice rooms. Free awesome breakfast. Nice fitness room. USA Today free. Small food commissary in main lobby. Rooms have microwave, fridge, coffee machine, iron & board. Carpet in rooms/halls/lobby appears new, as does paint.
Spacious room (king-size bed) with microwave and small fridge. VERY comfortable bed. Free WIFI, no strings attached. Decent breakfast and decent fitness center. If I'm passing through this area again, I would definitely choose this hotel again.
$84 + tax room rate. Go to the Audie Murphy cotton museum. You'll like it.
